Agenda, the meeting of the council of the Urban Competitiveness Project
25 and 26 April, 2005, in Ottawa
The following items will be discussed:
1. Welcome by Jean-Pierre Voyer, Executive Director of PRI- 5 minutes
2. Roundtable intros by each participants (short)
3. Canada and its involvement in the urban competitiveness of large cities ( Adam Ostry, from the Privy Council Office, represents Canada on OECD territorial reviews-going to Seoul for a review this summer after doing other cities. 20-30 minutes
4. Presentation of recent, current, forthcoming research and publications and related activities by each participant. 60 minutes
5. What is to be encompassed by our conceptualization of “urban competitiveness”?
