The 12th International Forum on iurbanCompetitiveness hold in Rotterdam,Netherland on April 9-11.2014.

The objectives of the conference are “Frominspiration and innovation to implementation”. The Conference wants to be asource of inspiration and innovation, but also a guideline for implementation.How can cities involve relevant stakeholders: knowledge institutions,businesses and citizens? What is their role in sustainable urban developmentand what does that mean for how cities should be organised.

The conference presented a uniqueopportunity to discuss the experiences with innovative approaches in Europe,the Americas, Asia and Australia,presented by keynote speakers from local governments, universities andbusinesses. The research and conference are not about dreams but about the realthing!
