Director Ni Pengfei met with Alex Pettifer, the editorial director of Edward Elgar Publishing

On the afternoon of May 14th, 2014, Ni Pengfei, the director of GUCP in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, met with Alex Pettifer, the editorial director of Edward Elgar Publishing, in the Holiday Inn hotel in Haidian District.
During the conversation, Director Ni Pengfei introduced latest progress of the Report of Global Cities Competitiveness, described three main parts of the report in detail and indicated the major innovation and adjustment in layout, content and data collection. Then Director Ni introduced the latest research emphasis and results to Alex. Finally, Director Ni and Alex exchanged their positive views and expectations for the formal publication of the report and further cooperation in the long term.
